This is just two love birds ramblin' on.
There’s three of us now. Meet Zooey Hartleroad. He’s the sweetest little boy our eyes have ever seen. He’s also pretty sassy like his momma. Here we are at my (Toby’s) Rite of Acceptance at the Catholic Church. Did I mention I was becoming Catholic? Oh, Bruce, you influential devil. Love and happiness to all over the holidays.

It’s been a while.

It’s been a long, long while. I had a big long post saved about our time in Seaside and seeing Bruce in Atlanta AND JazzFest, but I am lazy, or maybe I got hungry while typing it, and I never finished-SO still to come!

Lately times,

We’ve had a pretty lovely, simple summer. It’s almost over and I took a little family vaca to the mountains last week. While I was gone, Toby decided to kidnap his brother and pop over to Hawaii to see his grandparents, including a quick play date in LA. I got back last Friday, with boys leaving the day before. So I have literally been sitting around waiting for them to get home. I miss Toby, and Max and his whole family really. I”m ready for things to be back to normal. I’m also ready to get back in my regular napping routine. In Toby’s room. I also miss Toby cooking me lunch every day. He’s a good little loon, and I’ve tried not to bug him too much while he’s been gone, but this is literally the longest we’ve ever been apart and I’m dyyyyyying like one of those girls who post a countdown on Facebook till the next time she see’s her boyfriend. I honestly didn’t think it would be that big of a deal, but I realize just how much I like him/appreciate him when he’s gone and I’m forced to be around people who aren’t him and I get sad and stupid. I am truly ~*blessed*~ and I mean that in the most sincere way possible. Things are just weird and out of whack this week and I’ve used it as an excuse to eat too many grilled cheeses.

So come home Toby Deano, your girlfriend is cheesy and she keeps talking to the internet,

xoxo,

As expected, Brucey angel baby was the greatest.

Seaside was just so lovely.

this was the best night ever.

“But in the end it wasn’t up to me. The bigs things never are. Birth, I mean, and death. And love. And what love bequeaths to us before we’re born.”
